At the ROUND THE WORLD Ideas Festival of within framework of the 13th non/fiction Book Fair a well-known American theoretical physicist, string theorist and a specialist in quantum field theory Brian Greene gives a lecture Breakthrough Thinking: Challenging What We Know.

Brian Greene graduated from Harvard and earned his doctorate from Oxford University. He has been a professor at Columbia University since 1996. A wider audience has known him through his books The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time, and the Texture of Reality. Greene also appeared on The Big Bang Theory episode.
